Korbsak waits for appointment order
Korbsak Sabhavasu, secretary-general to the prime minister, said on Thursday morning that he had not received the order appointing him to head of a coordinating team to liaise with the red-shirts during this weekend’s rally.
I have not seen an official order, so I will have to wait for it. I can say nothing for the moment, Mr Korbsak said.
Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva said after chairing a security meeting on Wednesday that Mr Korbsak had been appointed to head a negotiating and coordinating team. The team will be responsible for ensuring a good understanding between the protesters and state agencies to help avoid mishaps.

The government knows well what the demands of the rally are. If the government loves the country and cares for the people?s peace, it should comply with the demands, Mr Weng said.
